Confirmation Orientation in the Parish Hall

Attendance

Confirmation candidates must have attended formation for the previous year in order to receive the sacrament of confirmation.  80% attendance is expected.  Options include WNL, Home Study, Small Church Community, or Crossroads on Sunday nights, teachers assistant for K-5.  Those who have missed classes may make up attendance by attending an additional retreat, or completing the missed classes through the home study program.

at Good Shepherd Catholic Community Partial attendance will not be accepted

Parent Retreat – Sponsors welcome

Saturday February 4, 7:00-10:30pm

1 parent of each candidate must attend this retreat.  Those who miss may make up this retreat with a personal appointment with Mark Knox – Confirmation Coordinator.  Must be scheduled before April 1, 2012.

Due March 1

1.  Personal letter addressed to Fr. Richard
2.  Student/Sponsor Workbook
3. Sponsor’s certificate/ verification form

Wednesday, May 23 6:30-8:00pm

Confirmation Rehearsal:

Students must attend rehearsal the week prior to Confirmation and should be accompanied by their sponsors.  If the sponsor cannot attend, a parent or teacher can attend with the student. PLEASE – prepare to be there the entire time.
